Read on to find out how Dan goes above and beyond to turn our customers’ dreams into reality thanks to our stunning quality glazed doors…

What’s been your favourite Minima project to date?

It has to be The Hide, an amazing, four-bedroom home in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, which broke the record for the most expensive house ever sold in the UK per square foot. This stunning pavilion-style property is clad in more than 30 linear metres of our large sliding doors. I like to think our products played a major part in the success of this project. The house is made up of more glass than wall, after all!

What makes Minima Sliding different?

I think it’s the fact that everybody in the company is striving for perfection and efficiency. We’re always trying to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer. Not only do we have the best quality glazed doors on the market with minimal sightlines, security features and fast turnaround times, but we’re always trying to improve what we do. From the top of the chain all the way down, attention to detail is everything and we go above and beyond to make sure our customers are happy with the end result.

And it’s not just our customers who tell us they love working with us. We have a number of architects who now refuse to work with any other glazing contractors. Once they’ve worked with us, they keep coming back. They know our doors are the best on the market and – perhaps more importantly – they also know we always deliver on our promises.

What do you love most about your job?

The look on our customers’ faces when they see their doors in situ for the first time. They always send such amazing messages and photos on installation day. It’s an incredible feeling to see how happy our products make them! They also comment on how professional and polite our installers are. Everything is done in-house here, from manufacture right through to installation. We carefully monitor every stage of the process to ensure the customer gets exactly what they want.

I also love the fact that due to our product versatility, we can often say ‘Yes’ where others have said ‘No’. Our customers often tell us they’ve spoken to quite a few other companies before they have their first chat with us. Other suppliers might say ‘No’ because of extra large pane sizes or features such as pocket doors or floating corners. But we can usually do it all.

What does the future of Minima Sliding look like?

We’re really going places. We’re already a successful company offering award-winning sliding doors, but we’re now undergoing a period of significant growth. So far, we’ve mainly relied on word of mouth recommendations with only a minimal online presence. We’re the first to admit we haven’t shouted loud enough in the past about what we’re doing at Minima. But all that’s set to change as we embrace a new approach in which we’re actively spreading the word about our quality glazed doors.

Can you tell us one thing people might be surprised to know about you?

OK, well I met my wife, Anne-Celine, when I was studying Spanish in Madrid and now she works in the business, too, as the Finance & Marketing Director. So Minima is very much a family affair! Anne-Celine and I live and breathe all things sliding doors and we’re really looking forward to taking your call to find out how we can help you with your next project.
