We’re delighted to announce a new green initiative at Minima Sliding. From today, with every completed project featuring our glass sliding doors, we’ll plant 20 trees across the world with ECOLOGI.

ECOLOGI is an environmental conservation organisation which supports tree planting, climate change and carbon offsetting projects. They fund projects all across the world and take climate action by encouraging individuals and businesses, including ourselves, to redirect some profits towards a greater cause.

At Minima Sliding, we want to do our bit to help the environment. At our glass sliding doors showroom in Kent, we recycle as much as possible, we use electric vehicles, we don’t print anything unless there is a real need and all the team try and do what they can to reduce their environmental impact on an individual level. But we wanted to take another step. Planting trees is one of the most effective ways of preventing hundreds of tons of carbon entering the atmosphere which, in turn, allows the planet to repair faster and for ecosystems to flourish.

Already, we have funded the planting of over 650 trees across 9 projects including forests near Stirling and Glenaros on the Isle of Mull in Scotland as well as Africa and Central America. As of September 2023, the businesses and individuals partnering with ECOLOGI have funded the planting of 70 million trees. Planting trees will not solve the climate crisis, but planting the right trees in the right place can be incredibly impactful. We wanted to do something positive to support the climate crisis on behalf of our clients, hence backing this important initiative.
