Installation Features of Minima Sliding Doors

Achieving a truly concealed track finish requires more preparation than a standard sliding door installation — and our process is built around that reality. The structural opening needs to be fully complete before we survey, and the base must be set at exactly 115mm below your finished floor level. That depth needs to be planned into the floor build-up from the start of the construction programme, not resolved on the day of installation.

  • Installation Features FAQ's

What are the key measurements for the Concealed Track?

The top of the base that the doors sit on needs to be 115mm below finished floor level — measured to the top of the final floor finish, not the screed. The head track is 77mm and should be fully covered by the internal ceiling line; ideally the ceiling line should be at least 97mm below the underside of the structural lintel.

When should the Concealed Track System be specified in the construction programme?

As early as possible. The 115mm floor build-up requirement needs to be planned into the structural floor from the outset — it’s much harder to accommodate retrospectively. We’d recommend involving us at the design stage so that the build-up, drainage, and structural opening can all be coordinated before work begins on site.

How long does installation typically take?

As a guide, three to four sets of doors can typically be installed per day by our team. The exact duration will depend on the number of panels, the track configuration, and site access. We’ll give you a clearer timeline once we’ve completed the survey.

Are the doors custom made for my aperture?

Yes everything is made to measure. There are no ‘stock sizes’ with our doors. We always survey before manufacture to ensure no mistakes are made and flush floor levels are achieved.

What warranty applies to the Concealed Track System?

The same warranty applies across all Ultraline configurations: a 10-year warranty covering the doors and hardware, and a 5-year warranty on the glass. As with all our installations, the Concealed Track System is only available on a supply-and-install basis — not supply only — so the installation quality is fully covered under the warranty.
